Use Water component as Ice?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but has anyone attempted to use the Water componet in QuickStart as ice? I'd love to be able to use the reflection functionallity (perhaps a little filtered) on a project that I'm in the planning stages of.

If nobody has attempted this, can any think of any difficulties that I may be facing?

It actually would be fairly easy.

You simply pass 0.0f as the wave length and wave height variables, which will cause the water not to move.

Then you set the reflection value to be higher than the refraction value.

Finally you have to set a water color to something like white. I don't believe I've added the water color value in just yet.

Then if you wanted physics for it you'd have to write it. You would have to treat the ice as a solid surface like terrain, which would be fairly simple, but you would need to have friction for anything that was on ice turned down quite a bit.
