QuickStart Engine Documentation

Documentation Formatting

  • We've provided some text highlighting throughout the documentation to help identify parts that represent code or XML.
  • Any code highlighted in a light blue color is a class, struct, or enum. Occasionally you can click on classes to go to any documentation for that class. You should also be able to search within engine with Visual Studio for these words if you want to find out more about where they are used or defined.
  • Any words that have parenthesis pairs after them are function names used within the engine or demo sample. e.g. LoadCharacter().
  • Text in bold red is generally a keyword from an XML file.

Tips

  • Within the documentation you may find Tips, Notes, Cautions, and Warnings. We recommend paying close attention to these, as they often describe common questions or issues you may be likely to run into.
