Physics Engine

QuickStart Engine uses a 3D physics engine called BEPUPhysics. Within the solution you'll notice the project, it is named BEPUphysics. QuickStart interfaces with BEPU mostly through 'actor' classes, which you can find in the QuickStart_Windows solution, in the Physics/BEPUWrapper folder.

Physics related classes (documentation pending for most):

  • PhysicsManager
    • BEPUPhysicsManager
  • PhysicsRenderManager (Windows Only)
  • Physics Components
  • IPhysicsActor
    • BEPUActor
      • BasicBEPUActor
      • CharacterBEPUActor
      • StaticBEPUActor
      • TerrainBEPUActor
      • WaterVolumeBEPUActor
  • IPhysicsScene
    • BEPUScene
  • QSBody
  • EntityCollisionInfo
  • PhysicsInterface
  • PhysicsMessages
  • SegmentIntersectInfo
  • CollisionEffect
  • ActorDesc
  • ShapeDesc
    • BoxShapeDesc
    • CapsuleShapeDesc
    • ConeShapeDesc
    • CylinderShapeDesc
    • HeightFieldShapeDesc
    • SphereShapeDesc
    • TriangleMeshShapeDesc

Actually there is another physics engine available for a while. Its BepuPhysics. Quite Good, stable and Supported by the Author.
